It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Ann Schroeder (South Sioux City, Nebraska), who passed away on April 13, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Smith and Mary Smith; her husband Roger Schroeder; her sons, Robert and Russell; and her siblings, Harold Eugene Smith, Cecil Robert Smith, Harold Ronold Smith, Mary Judie Wisnieski and Susan Church (Bill).
She is survived by: her sons, Ronald (Tammy) of Lincoln, NE, Richard (Miranda) of Hinton, IA and Randall (Heather) of Neola, IA; and her siblings, Butch Smith (Pat), Jack Smith (Jeanne) and Doris Knutson (Alan). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; and nearly 50 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Michael's Catholic Church, 1315 1st Ave, South Sioux City, Nebraska 68776 in Peggie's memory, to continue her legacy of compassion and generosity.
