Marilyn J. Lane Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn J. Lane of South Sioux City, Nebraska, born in Vermillion, South Dakota, who passed away on July 4, 2023 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marilyn J. Lane to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville South and Isabel South (Severson); her husband Richard; and her siblings, Wayne South (Patsy) and Elaine Dimick.

She is survived by: her children, David Lane (Robert Davey) of Ponca, NE, Ronald Lane, Dennis Lane (Erin) of Ft. Calhoun, NE, Cathy Fugleberg (Marc) of Papillion, NE and Susie Mogensen (Terry) of Ponca, NE; her siblings, Bob South (Opal) of Sioux Falls, SD and Cleo Stephan (Ralph); and her sister-in-law Lavonne Spencer of Sioux City, IA.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Siouxland or the South Sioux City Senior Center, in hopes of getting Meals on Wheels restored.
