We are sad to announce that on February 2, 2024, Opal Mae Berger of South Sioux City, Nebraska, born in Sioux City, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, George Berger and Doris Berger (Harris); and her siblings, William, Bonnie, Lola and Judith.

She is survived by : her son Jeremy Berger of Winnebago, Nebraska; her granddaughters, Gabrielle "Gabby" Berger (John Earth) of Winnebago, Nebraska and Victtorya Korthals of Sioux City, Iowa; and her siblings, Ronald Berger of Sioux City, Iowa and Debra Stortvedt (Randy). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, February 10th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Dakota City United Methodist Church. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 28th 2024 at the Omaha Valley Cemetery.
