He is survived by : his wife Patricia Lantz; his children, Ashley Orzechowski (Tony), Luke, Blake of Lawton, IA and Chad Merchant (Sara); his grandchildren, Tanner, Turner and Tayler of Bronson, IA; his son Rod Lantz (Regina); his grandchildren, Michael and Brookelyn of Sioux City, IA; his siblings, Coleen Prenger of Jackson, NE, Larry Lantz, Jeff (Carrie) and Steve; his sister-in-law April Rahn of Jackson, NE; and his mother-in-law Margaret Rahn of Jackson, NE. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
