It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edwin Filips (Spencer, Nebraska), who passed away on March 23, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Edwin Filips to show support.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Filips and Minnie Filips (Ausdemore); his wife Anna Mary; and his brothers, Arthur and Roman.

He is survived by : his sons, Roger (Ann), Art (Julie Filips), Paul (Cindy Filips) and Frank (Monique Filips); and also Alfred Filips of Bloomfield, NE.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorials be sent to the Boyd County Senior Center and/or the St. Mary's Altar Society.
