He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas D. Rife and Lena M. Rife (Gardner); his wife Rawleyce Rife; his granddaughter Larrissa Dawn Rife; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Wiedrich, Arwyn West, Richard May, Bob Dahnke, Julie West, Melba Richter, Lois May, Mary Ellen Dahnke and Lois West.
He is survived by : his children, Don Rife (Melba) of Stratton, NE, Dan Rife, Jr. (Sovia) of Schaumburg, Ill, Becky Evers (Mike) of Kearney, NE, Debra Guinn (LaMoine) of Oberlin, KS, Brenda Donohue (Jon) of McCook and Mary Boone (Gregg) of Elizabeth, CO; his sister Alice Wiedrich of Decatur, Ill; and his grandchildren, Michelle Warren, Tim Evers, Sarah Drackley, Jarrod Leggott, Thomas Rife, Brooke Hubl, Chad Rooney, Carrie Ebert, Lindsay Dunagan, Laurie Donohue, Shannon Donohue, Tyler Donohue, Visca Rife, Aaron Rife, Jed Boone and Wes Boone.
