She was predeceased by : her parents, William J Powell and Ida Evelyn Powell; her husband Lee Carter of Palisade, NE; her son Leslie Jon Carter; and her siblings, William J, Robert E Powell and Mabel L. Walter.

She is survived by : her son Robin Carter (Keri) of Bird City, KS; her grandchildren, Rebecca Lee Clingman (Billy) of Bennington, NE and Dr. Michael Carter (Christine); and her great grandchildren, Kaelyn Elise and Ian Fredrick Clingman.
