He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Hult and Martha Hult (Larson); and his siblings, Daryl Hult, James Hult, Stanley Hult, Wanda Haynes and Rhonda Astroga.
He is survived by: his wife Caroline Hood; his children, Jerret Hult (Diana) of Crocket, VA, Jamie Hult of Superior, NE and Jody Lunzer (Larry) of Superior, NE; and his brother Floyd Hult of Raymore, MO.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
