She was predeceased by: her parents, John Nelson and Clara Nelson; her siblings, Leo Nelson and Geraldine Hineline (Herbert W. Bruns); her former husband Hugh Ruttman; and her daughter-in-law Kellei Bruns.
She is survived by: her children, Connie (Larry Pike), Sheryl (Bob Parrish), Steve Bruns and David (Trisha Bruns); her grandchildren, Brent, Amber Pike, Kelly Pike, Ashley, Cory Bailey, Dionne Gamache, Frank Parrish, Zach, Jennifer Bruns, Jon Bruns and Katie Bruns; and her great grandchildren, Camden, Gabby, Christian, Cayden, Gaten, Ashton, Ashley, Rey Rivera, Charlie Gamache (Amber), Desilee, Barrett, Jacob and Ellei.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made to Centennial Lutheran Church in memory Bettie Bruns.
