It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Christensen (Superior, Nebraska), who passed away on December 2, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Dina Schaeffer (Hespen); her husband Willard Lee Christensen; her father Earl Schaeffer; her grandson Bryce Mooren; her siblings, Irene Davis (John), Pauline Fisher (Victor), Mildred Schaeffer, Eugene Schaeffer and Harry Schaeffer; her brother-in-law Kenneth Buckles; her parents-in-law, Oscar and Thora Christensen; and her brothers-in-law, Donald Christensen (Pauline) and Benjamin Christensen (Charlotte).
She is survived by: her children, Pat File (Jim) of Courtland, Kansas, Bruce Christensen (Cheryl) of Hardy and Mark Christensen (Joni) of Lincoln, Nebraska; her sister Helen Buckles of Superior; her sisters-in-law, Aleene Schaeffer Mills of Colorado Springs and Harriet Schaeffer of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Amanda Reisenweber (Alex) of Lafayette, Colorado, Krista McKay (James) of Augusta, Kansas, Dana Zook (Russell) of Kingfisher, Oklahoma, April Christensen of Denver, Colorado, Tyler Christensen (Lindsay Brown) of Ruskin, Nebraska, Megan Christensen of Lincoln and Bryce Christensen of Lincoln, Nebraska; and her great grandchildren, Isla, Avenn Reisenweber, Kelly, Mavis, Kirk McKay, Norah and Holt Zook. She is also survived by her grandchildren and for her elderly mother, mother and father in-law and friends.
