He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Blau and Genevieve Blau (Snell); his wife Diane Skinner; his daughter Lisa Jolene; his sister Virginia Blau; his parents-in-law, Dale and Doris Skinner; and his siblings-in-law, Connie Jolene Skinner, Dennis and Charla Skinner.
He is survived by: his children, Christine Stratman (Lynn) of Funk, Nebraska, Brent Blau (Jennifer) of Deshler, Nebraska and Angela Kathman (Mitchell) of Lawrence, Nebraska; his grandchildren, Marcus Tofflemire (Bailey), Megan Tofflemire, Logan Stratman, Grace Stratman, Madeline Stratman, McKensi Blau, Brooklyn Blau, Treyton Blau, Rachel Kathman, Kaylee Kathman and Darren Kathman; his siblings, Richard Blau (LeAnne) of Hastings and Denise; and his brother-in-law Douglas Snow of Hastings, Nebraska. He is also survived by eleven grandkids.
