He is survived by: his wife Barbara Whitney; his grandson Justin; his children, Kelly Knigge (Samuel Dalton) of Argyle, Texas, Michael Thompson of Grand Island, Nebraska and Dr. Angela Thompson-Paul (James Paul) of Decatur, Georgia; his grandchildren, Jack Knigge, Blake Dalton, Max Dalton, Chloe Paul and Asher Paul; his brothers, Robert Thompson of Superior, Nebraska and Dr. Ronald Thompson (Dee) of Superior, Nebraska; his brother-in-law Doug Warren of Formoso, Kansas; and his mother-in-law Arma Jean Whitney of Superior, Nebraska.
