Lucyle C. Sterkel Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 6, 2020, at the age of 90, Lucyle C. Sterkel of Sutton, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends can send flowers and condolences in memory of the loved one. She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Scheidemann and Sophie Scheidemann (Griess); her husband Robert Sterkel; her siblings, Edna Walker, Emma Krieger, Herman, Leon and Robert Scheidemann; and her siblings-in-law, Ed Walker, C. R. Krieger and Doris Scheidemann.
She is survived by : her sons, David (Lynn) of Sutton, NE, Mark of Denver, CO and Glenn (Lucyle) of South Elgin, IL; her grandchildren, Katie Griess (Ryan), Evan Sterkel (Kellie), Matthew, Christopher Sterkel, Annie, Emily and Logan Sterkel; her great grandchildren, Addialynn, Brileigh, Cadeson, Deakin Sterkel and Kinsley Griess; and her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Scheidemann and Janet Scheidemann.
Visitation will be Wednesday, from 1 p. m. – 7 p. m., with the family present from 5 p. m. – 7 p. m., at Sutton Memorial Chapel in Sutton, NE. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Federated Church or the Sutton Community Home. With the continued spread of COVID-19, masks and social distancing are requested and highly recommended at all functions.
