It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luella Hunzeker of Sutton, Nebraska, who passed away on January 1, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Martin P. Griess and Johanna Griess; her husbands, Gideon Nuss and Robert Hunzeker; her son Ralph Nuss; her stepson Jeffrey Hunzeker; and her siblings, Aaron, Roy, Calvin Griess and Loretta Huber.
She is survived by : her children, Paul Nuss (Belinda) of Hastings, NE, Linda Schroetlin (Steve) of Sutton, NE and Susan Craig (Cameron) of DeSoto, KS; her stepdaughter Deb Friesen (Keith) of Henderson, NE; and her sister Anna Griess of Sutton, NE. S. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, from 1 p. m. – 7 p. m., at Sutton Memorial Chapel. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Sutton Community Home or the Sutton Community Home Auxiliary. With the continued spread of COVID-19, masks and social distancing are requested and highly recommended at the visitation and funeral service.
