Joan C. Benson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan C. Benson (Tekamah, Nebraska), born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on September 27, 2019 at the age of 80. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan C. Benson to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her husband Raymond H. Benson; and her parents, Maynard Herbett Killion and Mosettee May Killion (Peterson). She is survived by : her former life partner Andrew Gerken; her siblings, Jim Killion (Anna) of Omaha, Ray Killion (Bert) of Omaha and Susan Crosby of Syracuse, NE; her sons, Jay Gerken of Bettendorf, IA and Andy Gerken (Grace) of Blair, NE; her grandchildren, Aaron Gonzales (Kathy), Jennifer Gerken of Naples, Samantha Gerken of Austin and Shelby Gerken of Blair; and her great grandchild Ophelia Gonzales. She is also survived by cousins and relatives.
