She was predeceased by: her parents, Norma Porath and Dennis Larson. She is survived by: her husband Rick Bennett of Valentine; her children, Jared Bennett (Natalie) of Brule, NE and Jennifer Johnson (Colton) of Burke, SD; her siblings, Deb O'Connor (John) of Ashland, NE, Brent Porath (Julie) of Valentine, NE and Twila Reding (Ronnie) of Blunt, SD; and her grandchildren, Legend, Bayia, Lawson, Ronan and Locklynn. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Sandoz Chapel of the Pines (90125 Hatchery Rd, Valentine, NE 69201). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Valentine Methodist Church (804 E 5th St, Valentine, NE 69201).
