She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Mathiesen and Ruby Mathiesen (Turner); her daughter Amy; her brother Paul; and her siblings-in-law, James Lutter and Terri Brinda.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Brinda; her children, Jocille (Jerry Poland) of Valentine, Nichi (Jerry Fisher) of Winner, Pat (Nichole Garwood) of Valentine, Mike of Valentine, Jay of Valentine and Grant of Valentine; her grandchildren, Austin Fisher of Malvern and Miranda Fisher of Winner; and her siblings-in-law, Margaret Lutter of Valentine and Dan Brinda of Wichita. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many special cousins.
