He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Rich and Berneice Rich (Chapman); his stepson Willis LeRoy; and his brother Richard Hallam. He is survived by: his wife Myrtis Rich of Verdigre; his children, Jody Rich of Yankton and Robin Rich of Verdigre; and his sister Joanne Rich of Seattle, Washington.. He is also survived by four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
