With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leonard Chmelka of Wahoo, Nebraska, who passed away on January 28, 2022 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Chmelka and Christina Chmelka (Mach); and his siblings, Frank, Joe, Raymond, Richard Chmelka, Clara Warner and Darlene Chmelka.
He is survived by : his wife Shirley Anderson; his children, Jim Chmelka (Beth) of Omaha, Nancy Frick (Craig) of Fort Morgan, CO, Tom Chmelka (Nicole) of Lincoln and Barb Chmelka of Lincoln; his grandchildren, Jacob Frick (Izabelle), Christina Frick and Alex Chmelka; and his sisters, Helen Douglas of Wahoo and Gladys Cihal of Malmo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
