Sylvia Olson Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Olson (Wakefield, Nebraska), who passed away on October 31, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Lefty Olson; her mother Thelma James; her brother Wilmer Cleo "Buzz" James; and her half-sister Lulu Frey. She is survived by : her parent Elias Clinton; her spouse Raymond Magnuson; her children, Robert Magnuson of Fort Myers and Lori Kurtz (Bill) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; her grandchildren, William Magnuson of Aurora, Melinda Hoogland (Russ) of Sioux City, Robert Magnuson (Janice) of Sioux City, Amanda Sullivan (John) of Omaha, Thomas Magnuson (Danielle) of Le Mars, Katharine Kurtz of Syracuse, Kristine Kurtz of Santa Clara, Daniel Kurtz of Santa Clara and Tyler Magnuson of Tampa, Florida; and her stepgrandchildren, Cole Siders and Carlie Siders of Sioux City, Iowa. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Salem Lutheran Church.
