It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Edgar Maahs (Walton, Nebraska), who passed away on March 27, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Maahs and Frieda Maahs (Kettelhut); and his grandson Sgt Matthew Kirchhoff. He is survived by: his wife Doris (Althouse); and his children, Clayton Maahs (Drenda), Gordon Maahs (Jule), Duane Maahs (Sandy), Mindy Smith (Mike), Marilyn Kirchhoff (Craig) and Cara Maahs. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter, niece and nephews.
