It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert Christner of Wauneta, Nebraska, who passed away on May 29, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Albert Christner to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Oscar Christner and Evalyn Christner (Hahn). He is survived by : his wife Karen Kay Nordhausen of Wauneta; his children, Rene Maris (Joe) of Wauneta, Curtis Christner (Deana) of Brighton, Colorado and Renelle Mooney (Barry) of McCook; his grandchildren, Jayden Maris (Ashli), Randi Hunter (Lincoln), Jonee Chilewski (Brady), Veronica Jackson (Michael), Stefanie Watkins (Andy), Courtney Christner, Connor Christner (Mariya), Rylee Mooney, Blayzon Mooney and Ryker Mooney; his great grandchildren, Kobe, Braxton, Gavyn, Anna Maris, Chaynee, Nixyn Hunter, Charlee, Brix Chilewski, Savannah Jackson, Nathan and Andrea Watkins; and his siblings, Bernard Christner (Peggy), Wanda Novacek and Robert Christner (Barbara). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and countless friends.

Memorials will be given to the Wauneta Senior Center and to local veteran's causes.
