He was predeceased by : his father Billie Kurpgeweit; his grandson Christopher Peterson; his parents-in-law, Gail and Marlene Albin; and his brother-in-law Kent Albin.
He is survived by : his mother Evelyn Kurpgeweit (Hintz) of Norfolk; his wife Renee; his children, Kimberly Peterson (Shane) of Raman, CO, Amanda Kurpgeweit of Wayne, Benjamin Kurpgeweit (Taryn) of Milford, IA, Samuel Kurpgeweit of Omaha, Christopher Kurpgeweit of Dallas, TX and Cory Kurpgeweit of Orlando, FL; and his sisters, Joyce Gamble (Jim) of Omaha and Peggy Curry of Lincoln. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
