With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy E. (Van Horn) Forney (Weeping Water, Nebraska), who passed away on April 16, 2019 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dorothy E. (Van Horn) Forney to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Fred Reno VanHorn and Carmen Celeste Garrean VanHorn; her husband Dale; her brother Don; and her son Randy.

She is survived by : her sons, Randall, Kendall, Ken (Regina) and Brian (Karen); her daughter-in-law Mary Ruth; her grandchildren, Mike, Matt, Eli, Abe, Lucas, Billy and Katie; and her nieces, Janet Bonnes (Stan) of Columbia and Peggy Brady of Pleasant Hill. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.

Interment will be in the Thurman, IA Cemetery and memorials will go to the Thurman United Methodist Church or the Thurman Cemetery.
