He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Pedersen and Mary Pedersen; his wife Delores; his siblings, William, Margeret Mogensen and Mary Louise; his stepson Carl Penke; and his stepdaughter-in-law Patricia Penke.
He is survived by: his sibling's children, Marcia Nickels of Plattsmouth, Doris Hohman (Jim) of Weeping Water, Dale Mogensen of Omaha, Mary Jane Garnett (Robert) of Pittsburg, CA, Linda Koerselman (Mike) of Fairfield, IA and Gary Pedersen of Lincoln; his stepgranddaughters, Tiffany Clark, Stephanie Randall and Autumn Marchard; and his close friends, Ken, Alice Lauritzen, Greg Vogt and Don Mills. He is also survived by numerous great nieces, great nephews and step great grandchildren.
