Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Makenna R James-Smith of Wilcox, Nebraska, who passed away at the age of 14, on November 5, 2020. She was predeceased by: her grandmother Joy Smith; and her great-grandparents, Harry, Mary Smith, Glen, Norma James, Clarence, Phyllis Wilsey, Pearl Atkisson and Delbert Stone.
She is survived by: her parents, Allan Smith and Robin Smith (James) of Wilcox; her brothers, Killian, Donovan Smith of Wilcox and Tyler Smith of Deltona, Florida; her grandparents, Mel, Sharon James of Axtell, Nebraska and Dan Smith of Beaver City, Nebraska; and her aunts and uncles, Becky Thomas (Glenn) of Holdrege, Amy Govier (Trey) of Lincoln, Nebraska, Troy James of Wood and Nicholas Smith (Brenda) of Holdrege. She is also survived by many cousins, extended family, classmates, and friends.
Due to health concerns, regarding the COVID-19 pandemic; current CDC and Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services guidelines for Faith-Based Services and Gatherings will be followed.
A memorial has been established in Makenna's honor and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
