She was predeceased by: her parents, George H. Brown and Margaret Ella Brown (Weaver); her husband Michael Samuskewicz; her sister Eugenia "Jeanne" Brown Kier; her granddaughter Lynn Rene Knowles; her stepsiblings, George H. Brown, Jr. and Nora "Nonie" Brown; her sibling's children, Janice and Robert Kier; and also, Gail Meyer and Ron Kier.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret "Maggie" Knowles (Steve) of Beatrice and Michael Samus of Lincoln; her grandchildren, David Samus of Lincoln, Anne Mathiesen (Matt) of Harrisburg, SD, Amber Farley (Trevor) of Lincoln, Heather Korn (Edward) of Holmesville and Ryan Knowles (Amy) of Beatrice; her great grandchildren, Bree, Seth, Cora Farley, Chloe, Aliza Mathiesen and Avery Knowles; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Katherine Mathiesen of Brookings, SD, McKenna Fiegen of Sioux Falls, SD and Mayzee Rappl of Phoenix, AZ; and her stepsiblings, William, Tom, Charles, Virginia "Ginny" Brown of Longview, TX, Betty Meyer, David Meyer and Roger Kier (Deb, family: Jerry Kier, Gail Kier). She is also survived by family, Jerry Kier, Gail Kier and family and Jim McNeal and a host of extended family and friends.
A memorial has been established to the Wymore United Presbyterian Church, Wymore EMS and the Wymore Library with the church in charge.
