He was predeceased by : his parents, Margaret Fricke and Eilert Fricke; his sister Barbara Rohwer; his father-in-law Eldon Mueller; his brother-in-law Leslie Mueller; his nephew Aaron Wilcox; and his children, Carly, Mattie, Joshua, Anna and Jacob Fricke.

He is survived by : his wife Lori Fricke of Ulysses, Nebraska; his children, Stacia Olsen (Jason), Brenden Fricke (Jeana) and Lukas Fricke; his granddaughter Leah Fricke; his sisters, Patricia Wilcox and Marla Fricke; his mother-in-law Carol Mueller of Lincoln, Nebraska; and his siblings-in-law, Keith Rohwer (Nancy), Lonnie Mueller (Linda), Linde Nelson (Marty Kotik) and Shawn Mueller. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
