It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Baloun of York, Nebraska, who passed away on December 19, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Alfred R. Boyd and Alta M. Boyd (Matheny); her husband Carl LeRoy Baloun Sr.; her daughter Mary Ellen; and her siblings, Juanita, Lester and Otis.
She is survived by : her children, Carol Marie Ackerman of York, Wanda Mae Driewer (Dennis) of Hampton, Sue Ann Watts (Mark) of Madison, KS, Carl LeRoy Baloun Jr. of York and Steve Baloun of Grafton, NE; her son-in-law Richard Hallett of Lushton, NE; her grandchildren, Bobbie Berggren, Heather Stadler, Mallory Sittler, Ashley Stevens, Kaleigh Cline, Terri Jo Delira, Kelly Bauder, Samantha Garland, Christopher Driewer, Ted Driewer, Alex Driewer, Riley Driewer, William Whitlock, Sean Stafford, Derek Baloun and Jason Tyson; and her brother Alfred Boyd (Phili) of Chesapeake, VA.. She is also survived by 42 great grandchildren.
