He is survived by : his children, Kevin Burns of York, Mary Doremus (Dave) of Benedict, NE and Dan Burns (Dawn) of Yankton, SD; his grandchildren, Christine Jarosz (Tom) of Stromsburg, NE, Nathan Doremus (Amy) of Benedict, Audrey Walford (Matt) of York, Charles Burns (Anne) of Madison Heights, MI, Sara Burns of York, Jessica Callaghan (Jacob) of Cyrus, MN and Rachel Burns of Vermillion, SD.; and his sister Catherine Burns (Darleene Becker) of York. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
