He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucien Letendre and Belle Letendre (Bertrand); his sons, Peter and Mark Letendre; and his siblings, Roger, Maurice, Chester, Donald Letendre, Irene Desfosse, Pauline Botsford and Estelle Lambert.

He is survived by: his son Joseph Letendre; his daughter-in-law Michelle St. Hilaire of Pembroke; and his sister Marceline Talbot (Irene Croteau) of Candia. He is also survived by four grandchildren as well as countless nieces and nephews.
