He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. II and Margaret "Peggy" Collins, II (Magni); and his father-in-law Gerard Bourcier. He is survived by: his wife Maureen Collins (Bourcier) of Allenstown; his daughter Erin Mae Collins of Allenstown; his sister Carol McKellar; his niece Lily McKellar; and his mother-in-law Jeannette Bourcier of Allenstown.
