He was predeceased by: his parents, Amedee Courtemanche and Hazel Courtemanche (Paton); and his siblings, June Boudreau and Dean Courtemanche. He is survived by: his wife Joan Courtemanche (Thibeault) of Allenstown; his sons, Bruce Courtemanche (Linda) of Hooksett, James Courtemanche of Allenstown, Brian Courtemanche (Denise McGrath) of Hooksett and John Courtemanche of Allenstown; his granddaughters, Ann Edwards (Colin) and Melissa Bourgeois; and his great grandchildren, Ben and Elliott Edwards. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
