She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Desmarais and Claudia Desmarais; her siblings, George Desmarais, Hertel B. Desmarais and Barbara R. Lavoie; and her nephew Paul Lavoie.
She is survived by: her brother-in-law Edgar; her nephews, Bernard Desmarais (Cathy) of Dunmore, PA, Maurice Lavoie (Jeanine) of Pembroke and Pierre "Pete" Lavoie (Carolyn) of Dover; her niece Monique Pepin; and her close friends, Rita St. Germain, Barbara Donovan and Stella Bergevin.
