It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John H. Young Sr. (Alton, New Hampshire), born in New Durham, New Hampshire, who passed away on September 3, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Herman F. Young Sr. and Nellie Young Varney (Fogg); and his brothers, Herman F. Young, Jr., Robert L. Young and Fred S. Young.

He is survived by : his wife Shirley Young (Edwards); his sons, John H. Young, Jr. (Jennifer) of Alton and David A. Young (Mary) of Lebanon, NH; his grandchildren, Jason Rideout, Jamie Avery, Gage Young and Morganne Young; and his great grandchildren, Jordyn, Mariah, Christian, Isaac, Amya, Arabelle, Lyric and Grace.
