He was predeceased by : his parents, Roland Smith and Bernadine Smith (Tobin). He is survived by : his wife Sue Anne Smith (Locke); his stepsons, James Howe (Dawn), Kenneth Howe Jr. (Meghan) and Derek Howe (Kirsten); his sister Shirley Chamberlain; and his grandchildren, Travis Gilcreast, Jennifer Smith, Jessica Smith, Mackenzie Smith and Natalie Smith. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
