It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John W. Smith of Alton, New Hampshire, born in Hanover, New Hampshire, who passed away on November 16, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Roland Smith and Bernadine Smith (Tobin). He is survived by : his wife Sue Anne Smith (Locke); his stepsons, James Howe (Dawn), Kenneth Howe Jr. (Meghan) and Derek Howe (Kirsten); his sister Shirley Chamberlain; and his grandchildren, Travis Gilcreast, Jennifer Smith, Jessica Smith, Mackenzie Smith and Natalie Smith. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
