We are sad to announce that on August 1, 2025, at the age of 67, Seldon E. Alden of Alton, New Hampshire, born in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Seldon E. Alden to pay them a last tribute.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Seldon had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Seldon may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Weston Alden of Alden's Garage and Dorothy Alden; his grandson Nathan (Cindy); his siblings, Robert Alden (Leslie), Naomi Potter (Carroll), Rev. Gerry Piper, Rosina Wallace, Barb Greer and Merrianne; and his brother-in-law Harlie Lamper. He was also cherished by many cousins, nephews and nieces.
A masonic service will be held on Sunday, August 24th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Winnipesaukee Masonic Lodge #75 (40 Suncook Valley Rd, Alton, NH 03809).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that a donation be made in Seldon's name to the New Hampshire Humane Society/Laconia, 1305 Meredith Center Road, Laconia, NH 03246, or to your favorite charity.
