He was predeceased by : his parents, John Sommers, Sr. and Emma Devereaux Sommers; and his brothers, John Sommers Jr. and Daniel Sommers. He is survived by : his wife Roseann D. Fleege Sommers; his sister Patricia Diehl; and his children, William Sommers (Tracy), Edward Sommers (Laurel) of Tucson, AZ, Joan Sommers Richter (Ernest Richter) of Cushing, ME, Patricia Sommers of Weaverville, NC, Thomas Sommers (Donna Staffier-Sommers) of Amherst, NH, Ellen Beery (William) of Erie, CO and Mary Symuleski (Richard) of North Charleston, SC.. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Those attending are asked to adhere to current guidelines by wearing a mask and observing social distancing.
