He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul and Catherine Abate, Sr. (Napoli); and his brother Joseph Abate. He is survived by : his wife Paula Abate (Kamont) of Auburn; his son Scott Abate of Manchester; and his brother Victor Abate of Westwood, MA. He is also survived by several nephews and cousins.
