He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Marden and Maybelle Marden (Lamper); his wife Shirley Marden of Belmont; his son Jeffrey Marden of Belmont; and his siblings, Carroll MArden, Carolina Vernal of Dot Flanders and Betty Jewett.
He is survived by: his children, Lewis Marden Jr. (Denise Marden) of Belmont, David Marden (Linda Hatch Nielsen) of Belmont, Barbara Binette (Richard Binette) of Belmont and James Marden Sr. of Belmont; and his grandchildren, Christopher Marden of Belmont, Felicia Morrissette (Doug Morrissette) of Gilford, Jenna Pearl (Brian Pearl) of Gilmanton, Casondra Holub (Kylie Holub) of Trinidad, CA, Shannon Dyer (David Dyer) of Gilford, Sarah Marden (Kyle Dupuis) of Belmont, James Marden Jr. of Laconia, Diane Marden of Belmont, Ed Binette of Belmont and Joe Binette (Melissa Ramsay McGee) of Belmont. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
