It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene E. Thompson (Brookline, New Hampshire), born in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 20, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Nason Fessenden and Elsie Fessenden (Beaubien); her siblings, Eleanor Austin (Fessenden) and Nason Fessenden Jr; and her sister-in-law Sandra Fessenden (Safford).

She is survived by : her brothers, Allan Fessenden of Nashua, NH, Walter Fessenden (Lee) of Holly Springs, NC and Robert Fessenden (Patricia) of Madison, WI; her sister-in-law Joan Fessenden (Bouley) of Nashua, NH. S; her children, Elaine Carlin (Edward Carlin) of North Attleboro, MA, Carol Meagher (Naples) of Milford, NH, Ralph Naples (Nancy) of Merrimack, NH, Keith F Thompson of Brookline, NH and Kevin Thompson (Michele Holley) of Merrimack, NH; her grandchildren, James Carlin (Tina) of Norton, MA, Scott Carlin (Karen) of Fairhaven, MA, Stacie Labore (Michael) of Merrimack, NH, Michael Naples (Amy) of Bellingham, MA, Patrick Meagher (Brittney) of Milford, NH, Kimberly Tetro (Scott) of Bedford, NH, Joshua, Rachel, Benjamin and Hannah Thompson; her great grandchildren, Matthew, Joseph Carlin, Travis Carlin, Christopher, Lily Labore, Brayden, Evan Meagher, Emma, Olivia Naples and Brianna Tetro; and also Irene.

Irene Elaine (Fessenden) Thompson died at her home in Brookline, NH on February 20, 2019, from the complications of Alzheimer's disease, surrounded by family.
