He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Byron, Sr. and Eva Rainey Saunders; and his sister Dorothy Saunders Porter. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Colby Saunders; his daughters, Phyllis Gagnon (Raymond) of Claremont, Paula Simonds of Bridgton, ME and Christine Record (Robert) of Contoocook; his grandchildren, Charles Simonds, Brian Simonds, Elyse Crossman (Stephen) and Justin Gadwah; and his great grandchildren, Mikayla, Bailey, Lacey, Molly, Dillon, Miles, Charlotte, Rory and Ryan.
