He is survived by: his parent Olive Amell (LaClaire); his wife Nancy Amell (Brooks); his sons, Robert (Julie Garfield) of Claremont and Gary of Claremont; his grandchildren, Brittney Amell of Newport and Camron Amell of Claremont; and his sisters, Bonnie Rivard of Ascutney, VT, Cheryl Broughan (Peter) of Gill, MA and Pamela Levesseur (Stuart) of South Royalton, VT.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
