She was predeceased by : her husband Eugene Grumman; her parents, Frank Sykes and Helen Sykes; and her granddaughter Mabel Emmiah Eron Root. She is survived by : her sons, Jonathan Root (Leigh Ann), Justen Root and Nathan Root (Yesenia); her grandchildren, Parker Root, Joleigh Root, Emily Root, Miah Schiavi, Eric Schiavi, Colton Schiavi and Emma Root; her brothers, Gary Sykes (Linda) and Greg Sykes (Elizabeth); and her son Gregory Root. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and one nephew.
