He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Maltais and Alice Maltais (Rockwell); and his siblings, Jane, Margaret, Alice (Mini), Ruth, Martha, Frances, Albert (Chip), Mary Flammond and David Flammond.

He is survived by: his son Derek.
