She was predeceased by: her parent John I.; her husband William F. Johnston, Sr.; and her sister Muriel Prince. She is survived by: her parent Marie Thomas McGimpsey; her son William F. Johnston, Jr.; her wife Pauline of Upton, MA; her daughter Carol Davis (Bruce) of Bridgeton, ME; and her sister Mary-Jean Field of Onancock, VA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
