He was predeceased by: his father Charles Johnson; his brothers, Jeffery, Mark and Christopher; and his granddaughters, Jocelyn and Madelyn.
He is survived by: his mother Patricia Woelfel; his wife Wendie Potter; his children, Justina, Michael, Matthew, Amber, Edward, Sabrina and Jacob; his grandchildren, Cody, Ryan, Faith and Isabelle; and his siblings, Patti, Judy, Michele, Jeanne, Lisa and Charles. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
