He is survived by: his sister Lesley Cowenhoven of Fairport, NY; his children, Tracey Cowenhoven of Bakersfield, CA, Virginia Cowenhoven of Malibu, CA and Garrett Peter VII (Anna) of Brookline, MA; and his granddaughter Grace Cowenhoven.
