He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis S. Dyment and Ethel Dyment (Hooper); and his brothers, Bill, Bob, Fred, Glen and John.

He is survived by: his friend Elks; his wife Anna Dyment (Blaise); his children, Christopher Ray (Kay) and Cariann Dyment; his sister Betty Collins; and his grandchildren, Jacob, James Ray, Henry, Charlie, Daniel and Lyla Rose.
