We are sad to announce that on April 22, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Rita A. French of Contoocook, New Hampshire, born in Barton, Vermont. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In bidding Rita adieu, let us not mourn the silence that now fills the spaces Rita once occupied, but rather celebrate the vibrant colors she painted upon the canvas of our lives. For while she may have departed from this earthly realm, her spirit remains a beacon of light, guiding us through the darkest of nights.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Samuel Paul and Myra Paul (Leonard); her husband Owen; and her son Alton Britch. She is survived by : her grandson Shawn Mitchell; and her daughters, Carolyn Yeazitzis (Anthony) of Hooksett, NH and Louise Carr (Byron) of Contoocook. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 23 great great grandchildren.

A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Theresa's Catholic Church (158 Old W Hopkinton Rd, Henniker, NH 03242).

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Hopkinton Human Services "Medical Fund" 330 Main St. Hopkinton NH 03229.
